Overview
We are thrilled to be supporting our successful and growing client to find a Commercial Accountant to be based at their Leeds site. The role offers autonomy as you will be supporting a senior finance colleague in taking full responsibility for the onsite finance function. The role offers study support where required.
The role:
- Production of weekly management information
- Production of monthly packs relating to site contracts
- Providing/interpreting financial information relating to contracts
- Internal cross charges and trial balance processing
- Cost flow monitoring
- Identification of future trends
- Provision of accurate costings and information
- Analysing/presenting to management viable ways to reduce costs
- Management of budgets
- Assisting management with petty cash and sundry expenses
- Dealing with purchase orders and supplier invoices, ensuring these are logged/processed.
You will be:
- Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA or fully AAT Qualified
- An experienced Assistant/Commercial Accountant or a talented and highly experienced Senior Accounts Assistant who is currently studying and committed to the next step in their career
- Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
- A strong and confident communicator – verbally and in writing
- Committed to providing excellent service
- A good time manager, highly organised in approach
- Accurate with a meticulous eye for detail
- Self-motivated, quick to learn, and willing and able to take ownership
- IT confident with strong MS Excel.
