Overview
Synergem Recruitment are currently partnering with a large, growing organisation to recruit
an Interim Management Accountant. This is a hands-on role offering full ownership of the
management accounts function, supporting both the finance team and senior leadership
during a key period.
Key Responsibilities
- Full monthly management accounts production
- Profit & Loss account preparation and reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- VAT returns
- Assisting with year-end and liaising with auditors
- Variance analysis and insightful reporting to stakeholders
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE
- Strong track record in management accounts, ideally within a fast-paced
environment - Confident in producing end-to-end accounts with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge and support non-finance
colleagues - Able to start at short notice and commit to the contract duration
What’s On Offer
- Salary £45,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
