I am currently recruiting for a large rapidly growing company based in South Leeds. They are looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join their purchase ledger team. This is a newly created role as a result of their ongoing growth.

The Role:

  • Create new supplier accounts and maintain the existing accounts
  • Process purchase orders onto Sage X3 ensuring that the PO is authorised at the correct level
  • Match PO’s to invoices & process
  • Scan & file invoices
  • Check weekly payment run
  • Statement Reconciliations Deal with queries by e-mail and phone liaising with either the supplier or staff at site
  • Maintain negative balances

The Candidate:

  • Purchase Ledger experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills particularly excel
  • Good attention to detail
