Overview
We are delighted to be working with an exciting professional services firm to find an Accountant to join the team in central Harrogate. Our client has experienced unprecedented growth over the last 2 years and this is set to continue.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the role offers excellent benefits and will include:
- Monthly management accounts production, full P&L statements and balance sheets
- Year end and statutory accounts production
- Managing both internal and external audits
- Dealing with client queries
- Ensuring compliance with VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax
- Ad hoc duties as required.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or an Accountant Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Ideally practice trained and looking for their first role in industry
- IT confident with advanced Excel skills
- An excellent communicator
- Hungry for career progression within a professional and rapidly growing business.
