We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant and play a crucial role in our clients finance department.  Within this role you will have full responsibility for purchase ledger but also a great opportunity to get exposure to the month end process assisting the Head of Finance and the Management Accountant with a variety of reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journals
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Assisting with the month end process
  • Contribute to the smooth running of our finance operations
  • Work alongside a collaborative team in a dynamic environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in purchase ledger or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
