Overview
A fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused accountant to join a growing, fast-moving
organisation where finance is central to decision-making. You’ll work closely with senior
stakeholders across operations and sales, helping to shape strategy, improve margins, and drive
overall business performance.
The Role:
Reporting into Finance but partnering equally with the wider business, this is a visible, hands-on
role suited to someone who enjoys turning financial data into practical insight.
You’ll be responsible for:
– Working alongside senior operational and commercial teams to understand business performance
and identify opportunities to enhance profitability.
– Building and adapting financial models to support pricing, tender activity, and contract
performance.
– Providing insightful analysis to explain trends, margin movements, and key performance drivers.
– Feeding commercial insights into the month-end and management accounts process to support
informed decision-making.
– Presenting financial information confidently to non-finance stakeholders including Operations and
Sales Directors.
About You:
– ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
– Proven background in management accounting, commercial finance, or business partnering.
– Excellent Excel and data-modelling skills with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful
recommendations.
– Strong communicator — able to influence and build credibility across departments.
– Proactive, inquisitive, and comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
