We are working with our client to appoint an experienced credit controller to their team based in Leeds.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting customer payments
  • Ensuring sales invoices are accurate before submission
  • Dealing directly with customers to ensure payments are made promptly and within the agreed terms
  • Answering customer queries
  • Ensuring customer information is accurately maintained and updated
  • Provision of regular and thorough aged debtor reports to ensure colleagues and managers are kept up to date
  • Ensuring cash collection targets are met
  • Continuous improvement of processes to ensure prompt cash collection.

The successful candidate will be an experienced credit control specialist with the following experience and skills:

  • Credit control experience from a fast-paced organisation
  • Confident communicator able to liaise with both internal and external customers at all levels
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proactive, persistent and determined in approach
  • Self-motivated, comfortable working both independently and within a team
  • Mathematically confident with a thorough attention to detail
  • IT literate with proficiency in MS Excel.
