Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in sales ledger or credit control? We’re supporting a fast-growing organisation to recruit a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their busy and collaborative finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role within a supportive team environment, and who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing and sending out sales invoices and credit notes
  • Importing invoices into finance systems and processing card payments
  • Managing customer communications and account queries
  • Handling leavers, processing refunds, and resolving fee discrepancies
  • Posting cash and supporting with direct debit runs
  • Assisting with month-end close processes and audit support
  • General finance admin including filing and query forwarding

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a sales ledger or credit control role
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive, team-oriented approach and ability to manage your own workload
  • Comfortable handling high transaction volumes and multi-site operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Sage Intacct is a bonus
  • Experience with customer or public sector contracts would be advantageous
