Overview

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working closely with the Management Accounting team, this is
an excellent opportunity for a motivated part-qualified accountant to gain wide exposure to management
accounting in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will support the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and ensure robust internal
controls are in place. Your main areas of responsibility will include:

Month-End & Reporting

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and home-level management information.
  • Detailed cost analysis versus budget, supporting operational decision-making.

Reconciliations & Controls

  • Oversight of bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, and deferred/accrued
    income.
  • Maintenance of key control accounts.
  • Posting and reconciling of credit card and cash card transactions.
  • Reconciliation of income from CRM system to management accounts.

Payroll & Cost Analysis

  • Posting and accruing payroll costs for both hourly paid and salaried staff.
  • In-depth analysis of payroll timesheets and worked hours to ensure accurate reporting.

Financial Integrity

  • Ensuring financial processes and controls are consistently followed and monitored.
  • Providing accurate, timely financial data and supporting analysis to the wider business

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

We’re looking for an ambitious part-qualified accountant who is eager to grow their career in a dynamic,
fast-paced environment.

  • Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA accountant, who has completed all AAT Level 4 exams at a minimum
    and can clearly demonstrate recent progress with studies.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator, confident in presenting financial information to non-finance colleagues.
  • Proactive and collaborative, with a genuine interest in contributing to business performance.
  • Thrives in a supportive, merit-based team culture.
