Overview

We are delighted to be assisting our growing client to appoint a Finance Business Partner to their team based in Leeds. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Variance analysis
  • Identifying risks and opportunities
  • Preparation and review of accounts and budgets
  • Quarterly forecasting
  • Building strong working relationships with site managers
  • Assisting site managers in managing and delivering financial efficiencies
  • Pricing requests for new and existing business
  • Reviewing profits against original pricing assumptions
  • Making recommendations for improvements
  • Implementing KPIs to ensure cost efficiencies across sites
  • Managing overhead costs
  • Accurate accounting and recording of income
  • Reviewing contracts
  • Accruals and prepayments management
  • Posting of bank payments and journals
  • Audit support
  • Modelling of key assumptions and trends
  • People management, carrying out review meetings, developing and supporting others.

The successful candidate:

  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • Problem-solver, strong financial and analytical modelling skills
  • IT confident with strong MS Excel
  • Able to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator with strong presentation skills
  • Able to relay complicated financial information to non-finance colleagues
  • Self-motivated with drive and dedication
  • Able to deal with multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
  • Positive team-player
