Overview
We are excited to be working with our client to appoint a qualified Finance Business Partner into a newly created role. This brand-new customer and business facing role will be reporting into the Operational Budget Holder, with a dotted line to the CFO. Responsibilities will include:
- Full responsibility for managing and producing the annual budget
- Providing visibility and insight against budget and forecast
- Monthly tracking of all operating and capital expenditure
- Audit, review, support and enhance financial governance
- Forecasting, scenario modelling and investment case modelling as required
- Accurate reporting and performance tracking
- Establishing and maintaining robust controls and processes
- Managing relationships across the business and externally
- Ad hoc reporting and project work where directed.
The role will suit an established Finance Business Partner / Commercial Accountant with a proven history of successful business partnering. The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA or equivalent)
- An established commercial accountant or finance business partner with a proven track record of successfully improving efficiencies and delivering results
- Experienced in financial planning and forecasting
- A confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
- Able to listen, negotiate and challenge where required
- Analytical and commercial in approach, able to interpret and deliver insight
- Able to build partnerships and maintain strong working relationships
- IT confident, strong MS Excel and modelling experience.
