Overview
THE ROLE:
The Franchise Division of our client is embarking on an ambitious period of expansion and process
improvement. We require someone who is able to take responsibility for the production of financial
results reporting for our Franchise network and provide insightful analysis to support the team in
improving Franchise profitability and sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify business performance improvements and assist the Managing Director in delivering
change to realise them. - Improve financial performance of the function through analysis and insight.
- Develop forecasting and scenario planning process to help identify future opportunities.
- Interrogate key metrics to improve business performance through comparative tools.
- Provision of accurate and informative statements to our Franchisees and ensure franchisee
payments are made to terms. - Ensure the balance sheet reconciliation for Franchisees is completed every period
- Understand and monitor the drivers of profitability for the Franchisees
- Trending analysis across the business to ensure opportunities are maximized
- Improve the Franchisees ability to drive performance in their business by providing good quality
financial analysis - Support for tenders operationally and ensure that that NIC have a robust costing model
- Ensure that all revenue streams such as rebates are maximized
- Take part in and lead initiatives to improve the financial process for Franchisees
- Produce analysis for the Franchisee team to help the Franchise Director and Business
- Development Managers understand performance
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Proven record of business performance improvement through partnering of business leaders
- Understanding of the core financial processes of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit
control - The ability to work to monthly deadlines
