Overview
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Completing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting with Year End processes and act as a point of contact during the annual external audit
- Support and assist with budget processes and forecasting
- Support the annual rent setting process.
- Managing transactional finance, including reconciling bank accounts, and intercompany balances.
- ‘Lead’ a small team and overseeing the purchase, sales ledger, and cashbook functions to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
- Develop team members, providing guidance and support
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure contracts/ checks and terms applied consistently to terms
- Continuous monitoring of internal reporting and processes and provide analysis to the wider business. Recommend improvements to financial workings, systems and policies, and then implement.
- Analysis of spend and provide information that will provide greater cost control and value for money.
- Monitor income, cashflow and expenditure, and provide analysis to support investment decisions.
- Present financial reports and analysis to enable the Senior Leadership Team to make decisions.
- Involvement in supplier contract management, negotiation and projects
