Overview

Our client, a growing manufacturing business, is looking to appoint a part qualified accountant to develop and grow into the company’s management accountant over an 12-month period. This is an exciting opportunity as study support will be provided along with a clear career path. The role will have full transactional accounting responsibilities from the start and will include:

  • Dealing with customer and supplier queries
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation plus accruals, prepayments and journals posting
  • Helping with annual audit process
  • Assisting with reporting, forecasting and ad hoc projects where requested.
  • Purchase ledger
  • Credit control.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A part qualified accountant with a career goal to progress into management accounting
  • Experienced all areas of transactional accounting, ie purchase ledger, credit control, etc
  • Hands-on in approach and willing to learn
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
